John Berardi - A Letter To Parents Concerned About Their Teenager's Protein Intake.

I would like to present this letter to all parents and doctors about protein. I am going to try and fill in the gaps here in regard to teens and high protein diets. Become educated and ask questions.

Good Article

As a kid ALL suppliments were steroids and bad according to my parents. The masses are just ignorant to the facts. My 17 year old is now on a high protein/creatine diet. With adult supervision (Me) and a caring work-out partner (me, again) along with a solid diet and PLENTY of water most stuff out their is safe if taken correctly. Parents need to educate themselves and their children before a kid starts taken anything. And this web site has tons of good info to help parents make good choices. Again great article.

Mike,

That is really great that you have taken the time to nurture your son. I know it sounds funny to say that but in an age when parents and children are so at odds - it is a very nice thing to see some real parenting going on. Nice job!
