This is very frustrating...there are lots of adds for DHEA and very little un-bias medical advise. What I have seen so far is that the medical people (doctors) are saying that taking DHEA without the watchfull eye of a doctor is bad, but they say that about everything. I know it is also used in older women to reduce the symptoms of metapause. I also know that as much DHEA coverts to estrogen as it does into Testosterone in men. It also has alot of the same side effects as full blown steroids, that is to say that when you un-naturaly increase test levels your body naturaly fights back by producing more estrogen. So in a nut shell I don't know either, I have bought a small amout to experiment with, I will post with my results.
