Exclamation Research Arachidonic Acid Before Use

I am very concerned about advocating supplementation with arachidonic acid.

True arachidonic acid is a naturally occurring substance. The author makes a valid point that it has benefits for muscle building. And, there is evidence of other benefits as well. But this is probably not a case where if a little is good, more is better.

The author makes a nod to the pro-inflamatory effect of arachidonic acid. So he is being honest and open.

But I wonder if everyone is going to realize the role of arachidonic acid in many very serious health problems. He mentions arthritis. But inflamation is also implicated in heart disease, cancer and general aging. The jury is still out on this substance.

I urge anyone considering use of arachidonic acid to do an online search first and read some of the information now available on it, especially the Life Extension website - http://www.lef.org/. The damage they do today could come back later with very serious consequences.

Actually, William has addressed all of these issues and proven them to be of no concern through the citing of numerous studies. Many clinical studies show that in the dosages and duration used in X-Factor, heart disease, cancer, et cetera are not issues of concern.
