I read somewhere that using weights while going through punching movements would throw you off target when not using the weights in a fight. And also that the best way to train was to train the muscles used but not in the actual way you would in a fight.

looks like a lot of hard work went into that article. but it would have been impressive if david's physique was leaner in the demo pics. Like the picture on his homepage. otherwise it looked like an average joe in the middle of a ring (and this is'nt averagejoe.com) . If he's bulking then i think he should have waited till a cutting phase to take the pics.

what about some weighted twists, thats an important motion for punching its where you get the rotational acceleration from.

my trainer tells me to use some of those techniques except light weights with lots of reps but then again im in belief of using weights in a fast motion ... www.********.com probably has techniques i would believe in .... this robson guy just looks like an average bodybuilder not somebody that would go in the ring and fight..
