Transformations - Transformation Of The Week - Brian Ahlstrom.
While always wanting to get bigger, I did not realize that I was also getting fatter. With that being said I changed my training plans. Read more below to learn about my current training and meal plans.

I was only about 215 in that shirless picture. They labeled the pictures wrong. I was 251 in the picture with the blue tank. I was 172 on contest day after dropping water. I am currently around 198 lbs with 8-9% bodyfat. The contest day weight is pretty skewed because of the preparation leading up to the show. I dropped a little too much weight. My next show I plan to start earlier and be ready to step on stage two weeks out. I am hoping to come in leaner/tighter and weighing around 180-185. I won't compete again until the spring of 2006.

They should be with Chest. My tris grow really easily so I only perform three total sets for them per week. I am trying to let my other bodyparts catch up. I usually perform a few warm up sets with Skull Crushers and then three sets of 6-8 reps per set.

Questionable
Where as I see you did make a descent transformation, Ive been in this sport for over 20 years, and you were no way 250lbs. People do tend to "Inflate" stats for dramatic effect in our field. Obviously you have a lot of work to do and I hope you will show the commitment needed to continue. Good luck in the future and being true to yourself is the first step.

LOL, okay. I was actually 251 pounds(in street clothing) in January of 2004. My TP can attest to seeing the scale. I appreciate your great comments though. It's funny when someone makes the remark you added, "being true to yourself is the first step" over the net. My family and friends know what I have been through and the journey I took. So, I am guess I am happy. Thanks for making sure though, DarrinProBody.

I wanted to add that this "cutting" period was done in a few stages over a year and a half. It was not a cut of 70lbs at once.

Why did you shave your head? You look 15 years older and you look like a penis.

LOL, that is funny because I'm always accused of being younger. Your opinion is exactly that, yours.

GREAT job! I wish my wife would let me shave MY head! She keeps saying I look like a child molester when I do it... Again, great job...
