Fletch's Transformation (Week 8)
It's been 8 weeks bulking now with Layne's bulking diet from his article. (slightly modified)
Gone from 192 lbs to 206 and have remained pretty lean.
And now......lets get on with the show.

Wow man. Awesome job! I see a definite improvement especially in the legs. The front double bicep is great. Fourteen pounds heavier and you can still see your abs. Hehe you're doing great. I'm in the second week of my bulking diet and so far, so good. I've gained 4 pounds so I'm on my way. Keep it goin man.

I'm 6'2.5"
I lift 5 days a week and do the same split as Layne but I switch shoulders and chest days with him.
Current supps are ZMA, Multivitamin, Whey, Glutamine, Creatine, and the occasional protein bar.

Thanks Chris. I'm going to stick with the same diet and see how much weight I can put on before I lose the abs. Then I'll evaluate where I'm at and decide if it's time to start to cut up.

Not to sound like I'm making excuses, but my calves are more developed then anywhere else. The lighting below the waist in the pics doesn't give anyone justice. I took str8's pic and we both agreed that the flourescent light was making us look flat.
Thanks for the critique......I'll make sure the calves are flexed properly in my next set of pics.
quick edit: Didn't want to leave out Scorp.....thanks..I'll keep focusing on the legs.

that's a work in progress.......I'm blasting the living sh*t outta them on my leg day. Being as tall as I am means I gotta put that much extra work in the gym to make up for the stretched out quads.
I run alot of cross-country for baseball about 9 months out of the year so the legs have really been neglected over the years compared to the upper body. (lifting-wise) When the running starts again for this season, I'm gonna try to stick to sprinting and bring a protein shake with me while I'm at the field. Keep em coming guys.......I appreciate it.

I blast the abs pretty good one day a week. During baseball we finish every long run with about 1/4 of an ab workout and alot of torso stretching. Medicine ball and theraband ball do the job.

WOO HOO!!! I've always been pretty lean. I dunno if the abs will stay once I get up to around 230.....that'd be pretty sweet though. I'm willing to lose them if it means bulking for another 6-8 months to put some more mass on the legs. Thanks for the email about the posing skip.....I'll work on it tonight.

I would think you were cutting, except for the fact that you are ALOT bigger than the last pics you saw. You're doing great buddy. Stay strong and focused. If you keep this up, you won't have to lose much when you cut. Again, looking great.

I haven't done any cardio in the last 8 weeks, however I do stay active walking around the office all day. (lol) My diet is very similar to Layne's article "Diet for the College Student"

The just of the diet is this.....have a carb and protein source every 2 hours. (period) One example is a can of tuna and 8oz yogurt. 2 hours later I munch on a bowl of dry cheerios and a chicken breast sandwich....cashews and peanut butter are my fat source. I never eat fried food or soda cause my stomach can't handle it. Drink tons of water. (always drinking water at the computer) Most important has been making sure I get protein just before bed (1/2 serving peanut butter and glass of milk) and as soon as I wakeup I have a protein bar. I don't really have time for breakfast cause of work. This will change soon enough when school picks up and I can eat egg whites every morning.
