Myron Mielke - Eight-Week Summer Slimdown.
Swimsuit season officially begins Memorial Day weekend. That's two months away. If you would like to drop 10 to 15 pounds and firm up the back side a little before you hit the beach this year, this plan is for you.

Thank you for your article. Just read it and I have to say, that article can apply to women without making them sound weak or dumb. So many times male bodybuilders talk down to regular women.
Thanks again.

OK. But I can think of a lot easier ways to burn an extra 60 calories a day by slurping down 4 cups of green tea. Other than that the article is pretty basic but well written.

how can you recomend cardio on an empty stomach? Its so stupid... When you write "Some research studies have shown that performing cardio exercise on an empty stomach in the morning helps the body to use its fat reserves because the blood sugar levels are low due to not having food overnight." you should really reference these studies....

I think your article is well written and straight to the point, however, I do have some hold ups.
Pretty much only one thing bothers me and that is the lack of a post workout protein shake. On the forums you can see how serious people take their PWO shake, and in this article there is only mention of a fruit afterwards. I understand the fruit, good source of carbs for recovery, but I would have to believe a simple whey shake would be really beneficial at that point.
That might go for the rest of the article, it seems a tab bit low on the protein, granted there is a lot, but still lower than what I would think. Whey has shown itself to be a great source of protein, low in carbs and fat, only 120 calories per 24 gram serving of protein (ON).
I am by no means an expert, but if I were to follow this program I would have to have a better understanding for the lack of PWO shake.
And yeah, cardio on an empty stomach could be most important part. I have read it from countless sources myself, sorry... can't cite them

The reason why a PWO wasn't mentioned was because it was taking into consideration the average person not wanting to mix up a whey and dextrose concoction in a shaker bottle. Most average people will not do that. A piece of fruit is waaaay more do-able for most people... This article was for an average reader wanting to drop a few pounds.
And who cares about references? Does anyone read the fine print at the end of these articles and look the stuff up?

Its because of that reason people can make **** up and write it in articles.

Nice
I like this article. Hmm diet soda.. and cheat food. My kind of meal plan. I've been stressing out about eating sweets.. but I guess it doesn't hurt to cheat once in a while.
