But what your missing is that fat metabloism is in a constant state of flux. We are both burning and storing fat all day long. It is the negetive caloric balance at the end of the day, the end of the week, the end of the month that determines a net loss in actual body fat.
don't confuse fat mobilization and substrate utilization with the actaul loss of body fat.
The life span of GH is very short lived, I think the real anabolic affects come from its ability to stimulate IGF-I, which in itsef needs a constant supply of insulin and nutreints. As does GH im pretty sure.
Also, first thing in the morning, the primary catabolic hormone is glucogon and the only antagonist to that is insulin, and as far as I know the only way to get insulin up is food.
Even if there was an upside i think the negetives greatly out way it.
