Wow!
Josie
Great job. You look HOT! Please post more pictures of yourself. QUESTION: How much of a differance did doing cardio first thing in the A.M. make vs. doing it at any other time?

I think that doing your cardio even before eating your first meal really burns your bodyfat instead of taking energy from the food you just had. Also, early morning exercise will help boost your metabolism and keep energy levels high throughout the day as opposed to evening workouts where you go to bed less than 5 hours after.
And if you’re like me, if you workout past 6 pm, you end up not being able to sleep at all because your body is still hyper.
The adverse effect then happens, you’re tired during the day, and might even skip working out the night after because you need to rest.
As for the pictures, am about due for my monthly picture updates..just visit the site.

Thank you all for you kind words, it really touches me.
It's been a while since I've lost all the weight (poorgirl it took me about 2.5 years) and sometime I can't remember I was fat before.
But when I see pictures what I can't believe is how I could let myself go this much.

Hum!
Am not too sure if I agree with this study.
When you increase in muscle and a decrease in fat you metabolic rate gets higher no matter what, being male of female won't change this.
But again for every study that a counter-study
I just know one thing for sure, and it's that weight training is more than beneficial for everyone.

Metabolism and Resistance Training
I would first have to say that Jodi thats awesome what you have done. Weh I was married I weighed 201 pounds and much like you, I can completly relate to the fact that you know you are fat, you feel it, but you still suck in your belly as you go by a mirror and dont really see the fat girl, until you get back the photos. Wow Photos tell a dozen words is right. I dropped in a period of a year and half about 90lbs, and became very muscular. I worked out 6 days a week, not all intensity days, and had a splurge day. After the birth of my son 2.5 years ago I had thought i would be the very active pregnant woman, but after ALOT of fatigue and eating yummy mexican food galore, I gained only 50+ pounds of pregnancy weight and finally 2.5 years later I am ready to get back into it. No quick fat loss will be the secret or a magic pill, only dedication and lots of sweat !! I might give everyone the low down as i progress, so far 160.5 37% BF ( ouch) and my goal is to drop to a healthy 130lbs. Good look to all hard working and soon to be hardworking bodybuilders.

Wowwwwww.
You are my inspiration, I went to your website and while viewing you pictures, my jaw was sweeping the ground. You are awesome!!!! I'm hoping in two years I will have a similar story to tell. Right now i'm 5'8" 1/2 and 240 pounds. I gained so much weight with my daughter, It's so bad that i got rid of all of my full size mirrors in my home. I know that it will take some time to get this weight off and I'm so happy that I saw your story, it gives me hope that there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

Thanks!!!
Thank you for sharing your information. And had mentally been revisiting what provided better results with my own weight loss journey (which was the early morning workouts). So, this is definitely confirmation to revisit what I know works! Also, the detail in your workouts is fantastic - I know I can expect the results. I'll try to keep you posted!
Very grateful!!

Always do what makes you workout... when you know early morning workouts are the key for you then do so.. same if it's at night.
there are no one size fits all solutions
