Has anyone did a study on protein intake on teenager versus adults?

If anything teenagers need more protein that adults because they are still growing (regardless of weight training or not). But this is more protein compared to the RDA - .36g/lb. So eating like a "bodybuilder" with >1g/lb would cover the extra protein needs of a teenager (and then some.)
