Fine article, but a bit of misinformation

The article is fine and fun, but a bit of misinformation. There is no evidence thatstretching will help to reduce muscle soreness. There are other valuable side-effects, but reducing soreness is not one. The most recent medical evidence supports the notion that an intake of protein following exercise plays some role in reducing soreness - although that role has not been quantified.

Science can't confirm why DOMS exists.

Science is lacking in this area.

The article is good.
