Food mixing?? Its bad to have fat and protein with starches because it slows gastric emptying, but you can load up on fiber? I'm pretty sure fiber slows gastric empying as well.

Talking Gaining Weight

I read that some people strive to gain 5 pounds in a year. Well i am 16 years old 6 feet 1 in, and 173#. When i started working out which was only Four months ago i only weighed 150# with 14% bodyfat. Now i am 173# with 10% bodyfat. Am i gifted or is it my age? And will it slow down?

yes it will slow down. thats just what happnes when you first start out. In another 2-3 months, it will slow down, then in the next year you'll be measureing by the 1/8th of an inch like everyone else.

If things didn't slow down, Profeesionals would be well over 300lbs on stage by now.

Question Time Off

I am going on an out of state hunting trip at the end of this month. I will be gone for 8 days and i am worried that i will loose some strenght and muscle. If muscle and strength does deteriorate in this amount of time how can i stop it? And how will i stop from loosing weight?

Its only 8 days.If you have been working out for more than 7-8 weeks straight, theweek off will be the best thing for you. Eat like a man and let your muscle fully recover and grow.

You won't bee at 100% the very first day you set foot back in the gym, but you will be stronger when your neural system "remembers" everything.
