Or maybe we take training a little bit more seriously to bull**** around in the gym. I can go to a million places to meet people...........I really don't need the gym to be one of those.

I agree with you... The article was terrible..
I personally don't go for girls at the gym... But would be lying if I told you your presence does not motivate me... It absolutely does...
The presence of women make me want to work harder to become a better man... Not just looks... But the desire to push myself...
I am happy leaving the gym not having talked to a girl, but knowing many there saw me in glances and had a good impression of me... I'd rather keep it that way... You know.. When eyes cross pathes and there is a good vibe, but nothing is said... I'm happy with that... I think it's romantic in it's own way..

My advice to men looking to pimp women in gyms:
Ignore the women; do not even give them a second's glance. You will attract more women by acting like they're not important, especially the ones that are used to receiving attention.
The article had a few good points (i.e. buying her a smoothie...although you'd have to do it while she's working out), but why should the guy have to do so much work just to attract a woman? Let her do some of the work. After all, the author states that a woman WILL approach a man IF she is interested in him.

Bad advice...
If a man followed your advice, then I guess the only time he should hit on women is at bars...
Gyms=bad because it's not a place to pick people up
Grocery store=bad because it's not a place to pick people up.
Doctor's Office=bad because it's not a place to pick people up.
Workplace=bad because it's not a place to pick people up.
I've picked up women at all of the above.
