Christopher Mohr - Effects Of Pre-Exercise Carbohydrate Supplementation For Mountain Bikers.

This week I am going to review a recent research publication preexercise carbohydrate supplementation and mountain bike performance; if this doesn\'t specifically relate to you, there may be some information you can extrapolate to your current workout...

Smile Thoughts on your artical

HI folks, this is my 1st visit to your site & I found an artical that atracted my attention, Pre-Exercise Nutrition.
I myself am a Mountain Biker (www.frmbs.bravehost.com) & I also lift weights (www.surfbodybuilding.bravehost.com). I do mostly Cross Country (XC), but, I do a lot of Down Hill (DH), the thing I'm always telling my friends is, to make sure they have a good breakfast & drink a carb drink on the way (it take 1hr to get to Glentress or Innerliethen), is this what you were talking about?
Also, if it takes 1hr to climb to the top - either riding the bike or pushing the bike up - what & when should I eat, so that I get the energy to keep going?
