Looking at the before and after pics it looks like he went from a skinny white guy to a big black dude. lol

Or maybe its just my crappy monitor.

It was just the lighting. The bright sun was shining on his arm , in before pic, making it appear brighter.

As for the pics....AJBuilder hit it right on the head. That "Before" pic was taken outdoors on a hot summer day and that, coupled with the fair skin my arm shined like a beacon! And I was in desperate need of a tan as for many years I was so self-conscious of how skinny I was I NEVER wore a short sleeve short or shorts for many many years...

So with the muscle gain and the tanning the metamorphosis is almost (but not quite) complete
