A very well written article with very valuable, and yet obvious tips. But it's missing a very important factor , if not the most important , in building muscle: overload and progression. Gotta get stronger to get bigger and vice versa. Emphasis should be heavily stressed on adding an extra rep or pounds to the exercise, whether it be using double progression or fixed rep range method. Add a training journal and it's just a matter of killing the numbers.

You are correct (and thanks for the kind comments). I also believe in overload and progession for those that are younger, injury free and not beginners. For those older, begginners and those with injuries care must be taken though because the risk can be far worse than the reward. been there, so trust me on that.
