Thumbs up I've Been Waiting for This

I've been into lifting for a couple years, but really got interested in bodybuilding right before I left for my current deployment. Dave Henry has been in every magazine I've picked up since June, and I've been wondering when this site was going to do an interview. I think it's great to read about and see the pictures of his magnificent journey. It's amazing to see what he has accomplished while serving his country fulltime. As a fellow Airman (we're actually assigned to the same base), I look forward to watching him make it all the way to the top. He has a lot of haters out there, but that's good because it means people are noticing him and it's basically jealousy. I've read comments about him being cocky and other negative things. I also saw the comment about his form that he refers to in the interview. He's come across as being very down to earth and humble in this and all of the other interviews I've read. If the man is a bit cocky, look at what he's accomplished. What some see as cockiness, others see as self confidence. He seems to be able to brush the haters off just fine. This interview was great and takes care of one that I've been anxiously awaiting, but that still leaves one other. I'm a female, not that it matters, and I would love to see an interview w/Kim Harris. I'll be registering soon, but I've been lurking for the past 3 months and love the site and store. Any chance of seeing a Dave Henry Air Force Extreme Figurine, or any extreme figurines featuring people of color? I think you're missing out on a huge segment of people. I personally would love an African-American "Tiny Hiny" figurine.

Thumbs down

taking it all the way to the top is nice, but unfortunately professional bodybuilding is a whole joke nowadays.

First Hater Stepping Up

I thought this thread was for reviewing the article. Life's a joke to some people, so I guess it's all relative. You didn't really say a lot in your post, and I'm not one for assumptions. Regardless of what is/is not going on in professional bodybuilding nowadays, I respect the hard work and dedication that Dave Henry has obviously put forth.
