Yep
I agree. These guys have no originality whatsoever. Its pretty sad, cookie cutter, copy and paste articles from alot of these new so called "experts."

Hey WorldMuscle & Bored
I'm sorry if this is "below" you, but a lot of beginners and intermediates like to get some last-minute tips before hitting the beach. The only cookie-cutting I did was copy the list of good protein/carb/fat sources from one of my previous articles, the rest is fresh.
As for originality, you're right - it IS a challenge to think of new angles since I've written about pretty much every topic several times already. This is my 100th article -- for Bodybuilding.com, that is, not counting the piles of articles I've written on bodybuilding & dieting for various mags over the past 8 or so years.
I welcome all suggestions you may have. Browse the BB.com article archive and shoot me an email if you think of something I've missed. Seriously, I'll be more than happy take any suggestions under consideration. Fire away guys!

I read the story. Its well written for the audience here. Has it been covered before, sure it has. But you added some of your perspective in the article and covered facts.
Its extremely tough to write on topics that haven't been covered and written about in every magazine or has dozens of articles on the topic here. I know, I've written a few that were not covered by anyone before. Check out the backward running.
Keep of the good work and as you mentioned, let the detractors come up with something to write about, or try to write something original themselves.

as for "originality," who the hell cares when it comes to the body? Homo sapiens have been the same for 50,000 years....

It's all part of the game.
Just passing through and I believe it's a good article for the simple fact that I have just started to cut down for the first time in two years and it's interesting to read other views. If it's boring then wouldn't you also agree that there is no fun in losing fat either. The only pleasure I get out of not being able to eat copious amounts of food is the reflection in the mirror, the comments from work collegues and most importantly the looks I get from my girl. You keep writing the articles and I'll keep reading them mate. If you don't like them, DON'T READ THEM! Adios.
