I'm by no means a weightlifting expert, but as far as I know there's a distinct difference between
"clean and press" and
"clean and jerk". Looks like these two were confused in the article.
In the latter, you drop the body downward and either squat or lunge. Then you _lock the arms_ and press _only with your legs_. Pressing with the arms is not allowed.
