Jim Brewster - The Ultimate Home Gym!

Home training is big news. It's so much easier in today's hectic and busy world. If you're older, with a job and family obligations, going to a gym just isn't always possible.

Huh?

Maybe if this article had more information than a paragraph spiel about a few basic gym accessories it might of had some value.

Question

What information would you have liked to have seen? Most people training at home don't have half the equipment I listed, maybe if people realize there's no limits to what you can do at home, regardless of your circumstances, they can build a better home gym. I didn't intend to list routines for the home trainer - if you have the right equipment, why should home routines be any different than gym routines? Anyone wanting routines has more than enough info on bb.com., including my training articles. On the other hand, I haven't seen that many articles that list that much equipment for the average home gym.

The only thing that should be added is a brief explanation as to why a powerrack as the basis is the best, and such along those lines. Some people might not understand. Good article overall; short and sweet

Thank you - and point taken about the power rack. I guess in this day and age of smith machine based home gyms, power racks can be easily overlooked and misunderstood. Yet, when I built that home gym, there were no such things as smith machine based units.

I just read this article and must say it's great. I am in the process of building a small 10x10 home gym and this article gave me hope and some basic help.

I would like to say thanks to the author.

cheers!
