Clayton South - Twelve Weeks To A Lean Physique!
In the first installment of this series, I outlined a program that I created to facilitate fat loss, and that I would follow for a period of twelve weeks. After documenting the methodology of the program, I followed my usual practice of extending to you, the reader, an invitation to follow me on my journey to a leaner physique and greater health.

The article is interesting, but the physique is lacking.
It's really hard to take advice from a person with not much to show for it.
Keep working hard though.

What's your diet? There must be something very wrong if you cheated this early in your fat loss program. Just keep up the motivation and it will actually be harder to cheat than to stay on your diet.

I kind of feel bad for what I posted.
Let's put it this way. It would have been way more helpful to see some before pictures to judge your progress.
You "after" pictures might have shown you to have come a long way.

yeah, the only thing I see that makes your diet different from others, is that you're taking a thermogenic. Which isn't safe for us under the age of 18, not much help to me.
But it sounds like you're working extremely hard, and if that's the case then you are doing EXCELLENT keep at it, and you'll reach your goal in no time.

". Included in these logs will be my thoughts as they occurred to me. I present them here for your perusal, so that you may get a glimpse into the mind of an expert. "
I then see that the guy who posted this extremely confident post is this guy:

If this was meant as a joke ,no deal, but you make many references to being an expert and experienced lifter. I dont know what you see in the mirror but its not what i see.
i am not flaming you but if you are going to talk in such a lofty, patronising manner you need a physique to back it up

First of all, I'm interested to read most things South publishes. I think he's one of the better writers at bodybuilding.com. However, when I see his pictures before cutting, there's not much to credit to him. Wouldn't a "bodybuilding guru" know that he's ridiculously undersized to cut? I think if Clayton was "truly hardcore," he would be a little bigger by now. South's writing and research is excellent; but his physique leaves something to be desired. I think it was a great article on day-to-day cutting, but Clayton was not ready for it yet.

I agree with you, but we should still cut him some slack. He's pretty damn educated in bodybuilding for a beginner and that says a lot. Most people develope great knowledge after they have been training awhile, but he has done the smart thing and learned all he could when he first began. I give him props for that.
