Train hard so I can look like Christina Lindley???!!!
One thing I really can't stand is when people write things with such matter of fact conviction and then reference in this case a certain fitness model featured on this site who does not train in the manner that is featured in the article. Mr. Berardi, at the end of part 2, it shows a sultry photo of Christina Lindley and says "Follow this program and get a smokin body like Christina Lindley." I really like Christina's build, and I am a regular reader of her Q&A column on this sight. It seems wrong to imply that your body can look like hers by following this program. The fact is, she trains high repetition and with few sets, and does use the very devilish machines such as the hip adductor and leg extension machines that you say don't produce results. She does not in fact use much in the way of compound multi-joint movements as you describe in your article. I know all this because she profiles, in detail her fitness routine in volume 3 of her Q&A column "Ask a fitness model."
Since you are a guy you cannot say this type of training is hands down THE only way to do things for a woman. I have trained high set few rep, and being a very short woman, quite frankly, I did look too big. Please post a photo of someone who does follow your plan. There is a big difference in a model who would be featured on the cover of Shape or Fitness magazine, and one who would be featured in the pages of Oxygen.
