Shane Giese - Contest Preparation For The INBF Wisconsin Championships: 11 Weeks Out!
I have great expectations for myself and sometimes this might cause me to be a little too hard on myself. I never feel sorry for myself though. I am doing this by choice. It is exhilarating for me to diet down for a contest...

Man! I sure wish everyone in my shows had a diet like that!! I'd win everytime! Your 11 weeks out and you're eating like that and your not even doing cardio consistently. i thought you were determined to win? Somebody showed you the wrong way to get ready for a show. i'm curious where you got your info from...you should ditch that person.

Hey Shane. Max9 probably hasn't seen your pics (otherwise he would have taken back what he said); however, he does have a valid point (although he didn't phrase it respectably). I had my contest prep diet critiqued in the contest preparation forum, and lots of knowledgable people responded. I too was drinking an assload of milk, and it was pretty much decided that I seriously needed to limit my milk intake. Here's a link to my thread so you can see how they critiqued my diet. I have since lowered my calories even further (replaced all cheerios with 1/2 cup of oatmeal and got rid of the toasted wheat in pre workout). Hope this helps.
FYI: This is just to give you an example of how my diet was critiqued. You obviously know what you're doing, so don't take this the wrong way or anything.

I've seen the pics..and so what! he has a great physique, but that doesn't mean you are necessarily doing the right things. I know many people in the sport that go through life limiting their potential because of flawed nutrition and unfortunatly shane is one of them...it's a classic case of underachieving. the fact is he eats like a million sandwiches a day and looks like that...imagine what he would look like if he did a better job with his diet and nutrient timing. don't limit yourself..make the right decisions.

HAHA!!! Are you that guy who emailed me with that AST bullsh*t diet? Why do you come on here after i totally tore apart and destroyed your inferior diet? You didn't even answer my email back. You just ran away from the situation. I can't believe you have the nerve to say what you are saying. It's easy to talk sh*t behind a keyboard. Honestly man, you told me to take 45 grams of L-glutamine a day and whey protein during the night?!?! You have to be sh*tting me!!! It's obvious you are trying to get free advertising off me for AST. GIVE IT A BREAK ALREADY!!

Read the post below your reply. Again, you don't know half the story. He has been trying to get free advertising off of me and claims to have won all these contests. I asked him for pictures and told him why his diet was crap. He never responded back.

Thanks man. Good luck with the routine. Just make sure to eat enough and sleep enough to allow your body to fully recover.
