Help with ratios
I'm a 35 year old female with 4 year history of reasonable physical activity. I don't understand how to eat properly, but realize that without adequate fat and protein I have serious blood sugar issues and of course, no satiety.
I totally lay off the simple carbs to prevent mood swings & cravings. My carb source is lots of organic vegetables and some fruits.
My body fat is less than ideal, but I've lost 20 pounds since it was measured at 27.
To reach my ideal body weight (120-130), I need to know how to adjust your formula. I'm not 35% body fat, but I don't do well on carbs. Should I use the .9g CHO/Lb, and if so, should I then increase my protein or my fat, or both?
Thanks for your opinion! Two years from now (after grad school), I would like to begin bodybuilding.
