What Mr. Whitten needs to understand is that most of the muscle in the forearms either pulls the hands upward (extensions) or curls them towards the elbow (curls).
By overloding these movements, you WILL force the muscles to grow as long as you are doing everything else right.
There is no such thing as a proper exercise that "does not work" as Mr. Whitten seems to believe, if his forearms were not growing on Wrist Curls and Extensions then HE was doing something wrong.
Other than that, the advice he gave for increasing forearm size is not bad, indeed it will all work, just not as well as some other methods.
I would recommend the article to people who want some good information on how to make their forearms grow without implementing a exercises for them into their program, but I would most certainly tell them to ignore the part about wrist curls for their future reference.

oh really? many people just don't have the genetics to make their forearms grow.in it doesn't matter what they try do to make them grow.
I think he is mainly right in his article stating that people with natural big or responsive forearms shouldn 't state that everybody can have them if the train them by doing wristcurls.
maybe people with smaller forearms have more intelligence than people with big forearms(stupid statement too,or maybe not, don't know the statistics on this..).
why trying to push your own truth through someones troat as if something works for you it works for everybody.
I don't think that if you don't have the genes for it,shrugs will make much difference either.
