weighted crunches
when doing weighted cruches this way, i hardly feel it at all. here is the method i use, which i and several other people have found MUCH more effective.
Put the rope on the low pulley. I'd say a good weight to start with is about 30lbs. Lie on your back, knees bent and feet flat, with your head about a foot or so away from the weight stack. Grab the rope, hold it at your shoulders, and do crunches. I prefer to have someone stand on my feet while doing these, but a bench or a pair of heavy dumbells to lock your feet under work too. On my last set, i like to do a drop set, like 50-40-30. Give em a shot, i think you'll like it.
