my own version on how to improve striking power
To impriove the striking power, we must recall the basic things, proper punching and kicking
For punching:
1. use the pointing finger and middle finger knuckle
- do pointiong finger and middle finger knuckle puch up slow at least 5 second per rep. (30 reps)
RESULTS
- Hard knuckles
- develop joint muscles (joints in your shoulder and elbows) and upper body muscles( biceps, chest and side of the chest)
- hard upper and lower body
2. shadows boxing with 11lbs dumbell and ankle weight
- 30-60 mins routine
RESULTS
- increase punching and kicking power and also increase the speed
- develop joint muscles (joints in your shoulder and elbows) and upper body muscles( biceps, chest and side of the chest)
- hard upper and lower body
- and also endurance
3. shadow boxing without weight
- 60-90 mins routine
RESULTS
- develop and increase Agility, flexibility

Doing finger tip pushups will damage your very delicate finger and nuckle joints. I'd reccomend a quality hand gripper to improve finger and wrist strength and stability.

my own version of strength and power
body building training
- develop bigger muscles, increases strength and power
martial arts training
- develops muscles also, increases striking power, flexiblity, agility, endurance, and also strength
- strength comes within us, it comes from our minds,
- it develops our adrenaline
EXAMPLE
- your house is burning and you need to do save some of your stuffs/ things, suddenly you can carry all the heavy things in your house where you have no idea how did you carry that:
YOU CAN CARRY THOSE HEAVY THINGS BECAUSE THE ADRENALINE IS RUNNING IN YOUR WHOLE BODY,
YOU DON'T FEEL PAIN, YOU BECAME STRONGGER, FASTER
so what if you apply that to martial arts you can deliver extremely powerful strike

World Champion Huh?
[QUOTE=webmaster]Learn how to improve your striking power from world champion Steve Cotter. Learn how improving your hips, legs and other body parts will help you improve your game faster than ever before!
Steve Cotter is no World Champion. Steve Cotter only competed in one World event, the 1996 Taiwan Kuoshu championships, where he was defeated in the second round of competition by a French fighter. He achieved no place in that event and to boast that he did is just plain insulting to those that actually placed in that event. Shame, shame, shame....

lol, now i question the quality of this article. plus to increase my punching power, i just basically punch a heavy bag for a while. to increase my wrist stength i do knuckle pushups. and for forearm strength i do farmers walks, wrist curls, and gripper contractions. works pretty good for me.
