Pasta is LOW GI???? I thought I was very HIGH on the GI scale... food with low GI are: oats, yams, sweet potato, etc....

please correct me if Im wrong

Overall, I found it a good article. However, I disagree with Turner's recommendation for the consumption of a chocolate bar before a game. The rush of glucose levels will encounter a rush of insulin to counteract the change in blood glucose levels, thereby leading to decreased energy for the athlete. I would suggest a Muesli Bar or something similar to this instead as a pre-game snack.
