great workout

I think it is too bad more people have not given this workout a try or at least commented on it. This routine is simply one of the best methods to put on muscle and get some amazing gains. I have gone through both the beginner and intermediate stages (with the 3 cycles of transitions in between as mentioned) and during this time I put on about 15 lbs with very little gain in body fat. In addition to the volume training I also upped my protein intake to help with the stress of the high rep volume and increased my carb intake right after my workouts.

I am now taking a week off after 6 routations of the beginner routing, 3 of the transitory routine, and 6 of the intermediate. This came out to be about 10 weeks. I normally do not take time off, but after the intensity of volume training my joints felt like they could use some extra healing time, especially shoulders. Nothing major, I just wanted to make sure my joints are healthy when I hit the next advanced cycle plus this workout can be mentally taxing in addition to physically...you really start to dread those last couple of sets and have to give it your all both mentally and physically.

If you can stick with it, I would rate this one of the best routines out there, especially if you are in a rut.
