Two of them I really used: Magnetic Force and Chopped-Up Sets. Magnetic Force makes the move smoother, and w/ chop set I could do the last few reps in push ups: 10+10+10+10+10+... + 5+3+1+1 reps.

i dont like your #1 because if you tell yourself your gonna get pizza after the lift then your not gonna get it lol...and thats ...i dunno

Agreed. Alot of people dont realise a mental approach is another one of those important factors. Of course training hard, eating well timed meals and getting enough sleep are very important. But a person who has the mind power and mental approach has a great edge over the person who dosent imo.
