These are great drills and they make my mouth water just reading them, but one point of fact. If my calculations are correct, then the drill labelled "the nightmare" totals about 700 yards (or metres). Not even Michael johnson could do that distance in 65 seconds! Am I missing something here?

The way I worked it out is below:

6 yards up and back = 12 yards...and so on for the following distances:
18 yds, 50 yds, 82 yds (to the far 18 yd line...100-18), 94 yds (to the far 6 yd line...100-6), 100 yds.

More simply, (6+18+50+82+94+100)x2=700 yds total.

A good time, allowing for turns, might be about 120 seconds...pretty much an 800m run time for a goodish athlete! but not 65 seconds!
