Curtis Schultz - An Interview With Lisa Aukland.

IFBB Pro bodybuilder Lisa Aukland holds more degrees from the College of Muscle then any mainstream University provides. I had the opportunity to talk with Lisa and got her to open up about the state of female bodybuilding and her personal life as the Doctor and great human being that she is.

lisa aukland interview

the most interesting part of the interview is the rather short discussion of how female bodybuilders are treated inside the bodybuilding world and how this contrasts with lisa's experience in the powerlifting community.
the focus of female beauty and power is moving away from bodybuilding and it's weak sister, the fitness competition. the viewing public is following the powerful charisma of women like jill mills, sioux-z hartwig, priscilla ribic and others.
the trend towards natural competitions is a benificial progression.
i was disappointed that neither lisa or the interviewer discussed advice to a woman interested in powerlifting or strongwoman competiton, especially as a preferable alternative to the currently rotten sport of bodybuilding.
