Exclamation Importance of Transverse Abs

The article was very good, but I wanted to point out that transverse abdominal recruitment and strength should be understood and trained, BEFORE any major lifts are completed. Everything should start from the centre and proper recruitment will not only help immensely in any sport, but in the power and strenght of the lift, not to mention preventing any imbalances and undue stress on the back. I have seen unbelievable results in athletes with TA strength and almost no injuries. This is just another way of looking at it, but the transverse abs also help hold in that "viceroptosis" where the internal organs press out into a relaxed abdomen giving that "pot" belly.
I hope this gives you another way of looking at Transverse Abs.
