What a pile of ****!

That is the worst article I have ever seen.

Please tell me the science behind how a leg curl will remove fat from the leg, training a muscle will not remove the fat on top of it. This is a basic law of science, muscle and fat are not interchangable compounds,

Working a muscle with high reps that has fat on top of it will give you a muscle with improved endurance that still has fat on it!

SACK THIS WRITER NOW, HE IS A TOOL

mis-information and pseudo-scientific advice like this is bringing down the quality of bodybuilding.com.

Totally agree with you guys, that seemed very inaccurate to me. Also, doing a heavy leg routine 3x (or even 2x) a week is surely counterproductive, as you don't have enough recovery time.

i'm not sure that spot reduction is impossible. how many people have tried it? this article discusses moving fat to another part of the body:

yes, weight training helps in the metabolic process, but the only real way to shed stomach/hip fat is trough cardio.
