That's totally bull... only newbies in sports may believe it.

Long time low intensity is the best to burn calories. You run too fast then you are excercising for musclar strength --how long can you last?

Consider the most obvious, simplest example, running uphill. Distance that you can move will be much much shortened if you run very fast to raise the heart rate. But the main calorie output is directly proportional to the dictance.

Stop listening to these MODERN SPORT RUMORS!!!!!!!!!!

it is much more complex than you are making it. There are several studies done on high intensity cardio showing it to be superior to low intensity cardio for a multitude of reasons. I suppose your one of the proponents of "do low intensity cardio in the morning on an empty stomach to burn fat" type crap
