Dr. Squat - Kids And Steroids!
I swore that I'd never get involved in the steroid controversy again. After writing a book on the subject back in 1980, I got so much flak from both the Feds. But since I hear kids talking about 'juice' and using drugs, it prompted me to write this article. Let's get to the meat of the issue. Kids and juice. Let's look at some down-to-earth philosophical issues as well as some research.

That kid at the side of the title is cute!
Hail how are you gentlemen ?
I think its stupid, they just mess around and do bad things to their body just because of their greed, very sad.
I think that to be good and to make things right, to feel and have good health is to keep things natural, there should be no supplements. But when you start working hard there is a need to get more "energy" or ways to keep up... maybe it is ok to have some NOT SO "DANGEROUS" supplements after some YEARS\months after you start working out, for example me, i never give my best, i do it for health, etc, i only started taking supplements 3,5 years after i started (i was 14) now i am almost 18 and i don't want to use strange things... DONT PLAY WITH YOUR BODY, i think people need to be more intelegent and give more importance to their life\body, its like those ignorant people who only take prozac instead of thinking and finding solutions to their lifes, in my opinion that level os bodybuilding is very bad...
They will suffer for what they did, "let them die alone" maybe they will learn not to mess around, stupid people pay for what they do wrong.

I think it was unfair of you to have posted Richard Sandrak's picture next to the side of you title, despite your minute disclaminer underneath, which has a grammar mistake in it.
You need to make this more clear. That child is the picture of hard work and discipline! Shame on you for associating him with steroid use.

Most of what the text books and media say about steroids are garbage!!!!! However, the effects for kids and women are extremely real. Adult males can take it risk free if done right!

BULL CRAP!
It is soo not possible to have abs when you are young. You must have gone through puberty to have testosterone active. Testosterone is what causes muscle growth. I can assure you a seven year old did not go through puberty! For people who want more muscle, or want muscle when they are young, they take steroids, which is man-made testosterone.

Having been tested by independant paediatricians, he was found to be completely clean and steroid free.
If he was found to be taking steroids, he would be removed from his parents care, by child welfare.
Your total lack of knowledge of human physiology is very apparent aswell, so dont make such slanderous comments towards people or situations that you clearly dont understand.

Sandrak/Steriods how old is this article?
I see it says at the top of the article that Richard Sandrak is not known to take steriods. Is this article old or something? A documentary aired on television here in New Zealand about him showing that his father is serving a prison sentence after threatening to kill his wife. Everything turned to crap for the kid when his manager questioned Richards father about what was in the milkshakes he was making for Richard. He wanted to have one tested apparently. Richards other manager who questioned his father was interviewed on the programme. He was going to promote Richard for some tele special but after questioning Richards father, about what was in the special shakes he was giving his son, Richards Father got angry and threatening and after a heated argument and wanting to not have the milkshakes tested Richards Father threatened to kill the manager if he continued to hound on about it and if he told anyone. From that day the guy who worked for them quit and said he could no longer work as Richards promoter. I believe after this he was still training but he has lost size due to not working out as much in fact since his father was arrested. Richard now has toys as before this he had no friends and was not allowed to play with any kids he just trained all the time and was isolated from the real world.
His mother is giving him a better life by the looks of the doco, and he actually has found out what it's like to be a kid he was the one who called the police and had his dad arrested after over hearing him talk about killing his wife and I believe his kids as well.
Richard did shrink alot in size and even after his renewed training they mentioned that they were not sure if he would achieve the in shape look now ready for his Tarzan role series or movie or whatever it is.
I think somehow we all know what was in that special shake he was being un-knowingly given by his father dont we otherwise his dad wouldnt have threatened to kill the guy who wanted the drinks and supplements tested.
I have friends who have taken riods and after seeing the affect it has on their moods and their hairloss and even heart failiure I believe the last thing to encourage is steriod use
I think the article is informative and well written but I am still at a loss as to which side you are on the use or non use of these substances.
