Thumbs up Creatine does work

I have been using creatine for about 1 year now and found an increase in short term energy levels and a gain in lean muscle,

The only thing that I found inconvienent was that creatine does dehydrate you so consuming lots of water is a must .. suggest at least 8 pints a day on a 10-15 gram regimin of creatine ..

Also taking creatine with your protein shakes does make it easier to maintain a healthy and ideal body fat ratio.

Remember that massive amounts of creatine is just wasting money , as you just pizz or dump the excess down the toilet.

While purely anecdotal, I have noticed I get that one final push once i break the 30 second mark, which in my mind does mean I am actually using it. I never did agree with the grape juice aspect though, since you would want it absorbed slowly in the system anyway, plain water should be more than enough to get it where it needs to go. It's not an injection into the muscles, its a dietary supplement, so should be slow and constant, just like any other aspect of ones diet.
The threat of dehydration though, does ensure I get my daily water though. I have seen way too many guys trying to shred on creatine complain about nosebleeds due to the lack of water in the body after creatine and dehydration pull a number on you.
