Unclear point

The article was informative, but the point of reading this article is to determine a new, better amount of water to drink. However, the article recommends half a gallon to a gallon of water - which is actually less than the "typically recommended" 6-8 gallons. The author may imply to drink this much more, but it is such a gross error that it debunks the validity of the article in its entirety.
