Pneumonia exp

Hi

I was recently diagnosed with pnuemonia. My substitute PCP was so dumb that after seeing my condition of total dehydration due to severe nausea, headache, fever chills she did not even take chest Xray. Just prescribed amoxicillin. I promptly threw up & asked my husband to take me to emergency.
After 2 crucial hrs of wait & almost exhausted till death Dr came, looked at me & asked me to be hospitalised . After Xray pneumonia was confirmed.
They put me on iv for 2days with iv antibiotics & I was discharged on 3rd day.
I have to complete my 10 days course of levaquin by Friday. I have changed my PCP & on Friday I am going to ask for another chest Xray.

I do regular workout so it will be a while before I hit treadmill. But right now I have decided to focus on nutritious food & rest as over last 2 yrs my diet had
gone down & I was happy that I was losing wight but at the same time my body had gone down low in my immunity due to malnourishment.

Have learnt my lesson of neglecting healh & overdoing the diet thing.
Life is too precious with small child & husband & job to be obsessive over size 2 or 4.

Keeping my fingers crossed for healthy recovery for me & for all those who suffer from such diseases.

Neelam
