Great article... I've never HIIT put this way-->

"When you do low intensity / long duration cardio sessions, the body says "it's a good thing I had the energy in the fat cells, so it stores more carbs into the fat cells. You actually create more of a fat storage machine. On the contrary when you do high intensity interval, the body says it's a good thing I had that glucose in the liver and the muscles so it stores more of your future meals there. You actually create more of an energy storing machine."

It makes perfect sense too...

hardly any posts to articles

On Topic: I found the article a good positive read that gave me the urge to incorporate HIIT back into my routine for fat loss (and thus ab appearance).
I also appreciated seeing that he said simply jumping on the treadmill and doing fast walking/jogging can be used, reinforcing the idea that any exercise that gets the heart moving enough is worthwhile; i.e. you don't have to all out sprint, or run stairs etc.. though those are also great workouts. but i'm growing ever more cautious of protecting my joints, so that i can KEEP working out another day.

off-topic- I don't see many forum posts about articles... such as here. I'd like to see more opinions to the articles, like we see about everything else in the forums. Especially, i'd like to see what bbers are thinking about the tips and advice given in the bb articles - to see if bbers are using the techniques... what they say works and what doesnt seem to work as well. I'm a novice, always trying to learn how to train and eat better - and realizing the genetic impact i often try to watch for other bbers with similar body makeups to myself - this means I'm looking for as much input/feedback to articles and everything else here at bb.com so that a good demographic sampling of opinions are revealed.
