I was avare of this for about more than 15 years now, but I also have information that garlic (if eaten raw) must not be touched with metal objects since it can diminish efectivness of garlic drasticly. I was wondering if someone can confirm this. I laways use garlic to prevent and cure any cold or flue I catch and I always peal it with plastic knife or with my hands only.

At last

Amen! Finally someone said it. Another reason that bodybuilding.com is a great site!
I have been using garlic to prevent cold and treating cold for a couple of years and highly recommend it to everyone. Unfortunatelly all these softies at my work look at me like I was crazy when I do - their loss!
