still suggesting cardio in the morning on an empty stomach? Low intensity cardio?

I like their motivational articles but they should stick to what they are good at... and not delve into the world of science, their cardio advice is far outdated.
Peace

I'm gonna have to agree on that one. Studies have shown for the oldschool cardio ideas here, that while the percentage of fat loss is higher, the overall calorie loss is less. If you were training with higher intensity, the higher overall calorie loss compensates and surpasses the lower percentage of fat loss.
Lost carbs does not get lost into a vacuum either. Energy is pulled from fat stores to compensate, as well as the liver, so you can more then compensate. Not to mention the increased energy levels from having eaten will allow for higher cardio intensity.
People eat with a daily/weekly calorie goal in mind, cardio should be thought of along the same line.
