This is insane!!!!

Don’t know about you..... but the article posted at http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/animalpak18.htm just makes no sense. He mentions that he eats 5-6 dozen whole eggs per day!!!! WTF!!! Each egg is around 70 calories. 70 cal * 12 eggs/dozen * 6 dozen = 5040 calories per day JUST from eggs!!!!! This makes no sense!!!! According to his rule of "have 15 calories per pound of body weight" means he weighs 5040 cal / 15 => 336 lbs. BUT!!!!!! He also says to eat 2g of protein per pound of body weight. Eggs have 6g of protein per egg. Having 6 dozen (or 72 ) eggs per day gives 6g per egg * 72 eggs => 432 g of protein!!!!! But according to the rule of 2 g of protein per pound of body weight means that he should weigh 432g of protein / 2 => 216lbs!!!!!

One system says he weighs 336 lbs and the other says he weighs 216 lbs!!!!!! In addition, all these numbers just come from consuming eggs. WHAT ABOUT ALL THE MEAT AND CARBS THAT HE ALSO HAS!!!!! Unless this man weighs in close to a tone.... this "Secret weight gaining diet" with "special ratios" makes no sense and is completely WRONG!!!!

one more thing

I forgot to mention.... the 500 grams of oatmeal he eats which is an additional 2000 calories really makes him fat. Add that 2000 calories to the 5040 that he gets JUST from the eggs and you now have him consuming 7040 calories per day just from eggs and oatmeal! Again using the 15 calories per pound of body weight puts this guy at 7040calories / 15 => 469 pounds! Wow! I wish I was 469 pounds.

Ditto to the other review. This guy is a moron. How is 5 dozen eggs/day healthy?!? I'm sure his coronaries love that one! Hope you're taking your aspirin, buddy -- oh, sorry -- ANIMAL.

15 calories per pound is the starting baseline for a moderate "gainer's diet". Start with 15 calories per pound and after 2-4 weeks, gradually increase your calories. STARTING BASELINE beign the keyword. u think hes starting? i didnt think so. hes at the point where its probably hard as hell to put on any mroe muscle so he eats those crazy amount of calories. im sure he started off back who knows when with 15 cal per lb

No matter how huge you are 7000 calories a day from eggs and oatmeal will make you fat and prone to a heart attack. I think that 5-6 dozen eggs a day was supposed to be a week. Still 60-72 eggs a week is asking of for a cardiac arrest. No body can take that much cholesterol.
Maybe he put in an equivalent of egg-whites he eats which would not be that odd but if anyone is reading the article and not thinking about these things it may mislead them in a very unhealthy and dangerous manner.

I am starting to dislike these animal articles - there is too much animosity in their approach but I guess some people get off on that..

Cum granum salis... with a grain of salt - always use your judgment and don't believe everything blindly....
