This routine ROCKS!
I have been rotating this routine in since the mid 1980's! I initially tried it for wrestling, and I can tell you ~ I walked thru alot of the competition back then. I was SO strong.
Over the years, I have tweaked this routine a little differently than this article, however, I think I may try this one too.
For my routine, I track each workout's excerise, weight and rep count. I perform 1 set of 100, with the goal of attaining 100 reps without stopping. For example:
Bench Press 10# DB 70/30
This would show that I used 10 pound dumbells for the bench press, made it to 70 reps before failure, then another 30 reps. My rule is, however may reps you have left, that is how many seconds of rest you get.
By starting with light weights, and tracking, I assure that when I reach 100 straight reps, I increase the weight.
This is a great workout, but intense.
