Good article. I like the inclusion of decline presses and partial reps, and the reminder that strong triceps are a key to good bench pressing. Very basic, sound advice.

Program?

OK, maybe I'm a little slower than the rest. But isn't there a missing element to this article? Can these moves be put into a program? For example, should I do all of these moves in one workout? How many reps of each? and for how many weeks before testing my bench skilz?

A little clarity would help. I have never had a heavy bench and would like to get there before I'm 50.

Thanks for any feedback you can give!

Bench Article

The article is to give you the tools to create your own program, it is impossible to create a general program without knowing your exact goals. All the tips in the article can be used to create a strength increasing program or a bulking program.

If all you are interested in is strength then you need to keep the reps to 6 and under!!!!

The rotator cuff exercises are always ment to be done with light weight and medium reps (12)

I hope that this was of some help!
