I opened this article, expecting perhaps an indepth, well explained and articulated story. You have disappointed me, all i found was a shallow wading pool.
This article has further increased my beleif that the articles published at
www.bodybuilding.com need to be further, and more thoughtfully moderated.
In amongst the brevity of your article i couldn't help but be amazed at the following statement you made, when refering to "The Football Method"
"In this method of working out you tend to focus more on how much weight you are lifting rather than worrying about good form, contraction and building muscle."
This is egotistical, and implies that anyone lifting weight is incapable of maintaining more than one focal frame of mind. ie lifting heavy while maitaining correct, robust technique. People lifting weight need to and MUST ALWAYS be concerened with good form. For you to suggest otherwise is neglegent.
However, i do not believe you would ever condone poor form. Infact i am sure you would go to great length to ensure correct form is maitained, whenever lifting any weight for whatever purpose. Credit is given where credit is due. However this reflects poorly on the entire website. Perhaps you should have you work thoroughly peer reviewed before publishing.
Have a Better one.
Cheers
