Ryan Mackie - How Well Do You Know Your Body?

Trying various training methods really motivates me and fires me up to know that at the end of the year I will have a much better understanding of how my body responds to differing training and nutrition strategies.

Thumbs down Body Opus Diet Plan

Hey I'm no expert but I am taking Pathology and Pathophysiology and ketosis is not something that's good. Your brain uses glucose (from glycogen) to run and it comes from carbs, muscle, bone and fat. If you put your body into a severe glycogen deficit it's going to grab the glucose from somewhere else and it's alot easier for it to get it from your muscles than from your fat stores. I'm sure the diet forces you to use some fat stores but it eats away at everyting else first. Not to great a way to keep an excellent physique.
