Hey Everyone, Names Geoff Martinov. I'm 17 years old. I live in Michigan.
I have been reading this site for over 3 weeks now and have been looking for a few good supplements for my 2 1/2 month summer bulking program. I am 17 years old, weigh only 122 pounds and am 5'5. I have never taken any supplements before and I think going on a bulking phase this summer will take me to where I want to be.
My Goals. I want to gain about 40 pounds (not all muscle) I want to weigh what a normal 17 year old should weigh..not 122. I want to lose the 10/15 pounds of fat I have and replace that with good ol meat N muscle. I am thinking about joing the wrestling team next year and want to be physically ready for it. I know in wrestling you need to have ENDURANCE after my bulking phase in the summer, that first semester of school I am taking weight training and I'm going to focus on light weight training to mantain my muscles but work on cardio and on the weekends hit the gym for an aerobics class and endurance building excersises.
I am thinking about hitting the gym 3 days a week during the summer. I am taking summer classes that go from 8 am to 1 pm. so at 1:30 pm I will be at my gym and will probably get done everything I need to get done around 4:30. my sched would be monday/wensday/friday. I have not picked what muscle groups to work for each day.
Supplements...
I want to take Creatine Monohydrate, ZMA, L-Glutamine,N-Large 2 and HMB. or HMB/ZMA. I dont know if I need both or if one can fufill the other duty to a small degree.
I know about loading creatine except that on this is site it says load for the first 4 week days....does that mean load for the first 4 days of that week and NOT lift at the same time? or to load and lift that day and keep going untill your whole cycle period is over? for example my sched is monday wensday and friday...and I start loading monday, would I go to the gym after summer classes that day? or load that week and after the loading phase/week is over, Lift the following week while I am on maitenace phase?. Also I hear that glutamine and creatine can't be taken at the same time because the both require the same carriers to transport the stuff into the muscles, and also there's controversy on when to take each one. creatine before you lift and glutamine after? or glutamine before and creatine after?.
I would very much like to know the BEST possible way to use all of these supplements in a timely and schedualed fashin. I also have a regular mega teen Multi-Vitamin from GNC Health Stores. I am currently not playing football because of my size, I do not want to be killed by the other 180/210 pound players. and once I get this program down and completed my life will consist of alot more sports....since as of right now. I do not play in any sports because of my size. also I naturally each 4 meals a day (yes 4) I eat a good breakfest, Lunch, after school small meal and then dinner. and suprisingly I gain nothing but a lil fat and no size. I turned to body builing about a 1/2 a year ago to improve myself and now I after reading tons of articles by the sites great lifters and article writers I am now ready to set up a good solid Bulking Routine to get me pumped and ready to kick some ass. (sportwise).
Any help and or advice on what to use first or what not to use and what will give me the best results. any thoughts on what kind of lifting program to use? like ICE/HIT..etc or just a basic lifting chart for my size and age group?. I do know this takes time. thats why I am in it for the next 2 years..summer AND school AND Weight Training AND Wrestling..(Hopefully). so as you can see I am mentally charged up and Motivationally pumped. All I need now..Is my products and a scheduale.
