Crash dieting for wedding...Back on Stacker 2 for next couple of weeks
Well, the wedding is coming up fast and I've gained a couple extra pounds thanks to all of the beer drinking I did during deer camp. Gonna try and shed about 10-15 pounds in the next 17 days, Should be pretty easy, 1 pound a day or so.
But damn, I haven't taken a stacker for about 1 1/2 years, I forgot the feeling you get the first time. I probably won't sleep much tonight.
So between taking stackers, cutting down on carbs to maybe 40 grams a day, and increasing my aerobics, I shouldn't have too much trouble loosing the weight quickly.
What do y'all think?

Yeah with a good crash diet I know I can. But I also know that I will gain it right back once I start eating carbs again.
I've done it before, most of the weight I gained was water weight from all of the beer drinking. Hard to keep a clean diet and drink water while at deer camp.

Not worth it...
Why torment yourself just to drop water weight... So you can show up at your wedding looking sickly and sallow from dehydration...
Not to mention that the crash diet is well known for beating up the immune system... During a season when the flu is just starting to kick up it's heals...
Now wouldn't it be great for you to show up at your own wedding, draggin' ass from Stims and Crash dieting, while hacking up a lung and dribbling snot all over yourself...
In the end your new wife isn't going to care about a measly 10 pounds, and if you're worried about the pictures, just suck in your gut... David Hasselhoff has been doing it for years!

You are probably right, but I am packing a flu shot and vitiman C pills to help combat any illness. I'll stop the pills a few days before the wedding.

Well if you're dead set on it... At least go out and get yourself some of that Airborne stuff...
My Fiance and her mother are both nurses, if they get sick, they can't work since they're around people with compromised health. They take it all the time... And got me into it as well...
If I were in your shoes, I would replace the Vit C with the Airborne once a day. There's more to immuno boosting than just Vit C, like zinc etc...
Yeah it costs a little more...
But honestly Bro... You're doing something dumb, and it's worth the extra bucks to buy the Walmart 3 packer of that stuff for $20 as "Insurance."

Never heard of 'airborne', is it a pill form or what exactly is it?

It's one of those "If you feel yourself getting sick... Take this stuff... Invented by a teacher who was tired of getting sick from kids."
It comes in Tubes of 7...
You drop it in a cup of water... It fizzes like Alka-Seltzer... You drink it down... Tastes a little like the old Flintstone vitamins you had as a kid.
It was originally meant to be something to help you fight off the flu. (Works great for that... When I feel myself coming down with the plague I start taking them every 4 hours, and it turns "Drop dead Sick" into "Just feeling under the weather.")
You can however use it like an expensive vitamin.
If you go to Walmart (Which is where my fiance gets it.) She pays $20 for a 3 pack tube, that has 21 tabs...
Taking one a day is going to go a hell of a lot farther towards your goal during this short term crash than some Vit C pills.
****
Just walk into the Walmart pharmacy section... Put on your "Helpless Male Face" then ask someone where the Airborne is... You should be in the checkout line in 2 minutes flat!

You staying at Bluefin? It's an awesome resort. Been there a bunch of time.
I agree with Nainoa on this one. Don't over-tax your body trying to lose an extra few pounds of what will mostly be water.

Last 5-7 days, cut all sodium as much as you can, and limit your carbs.
Get most of your calories from fat/protein, this will shrink your muscles but you will lose a lot of water, and you will look leaner.
You can definetly lose 2-4 pounds of FAT in 17 days, but rest is water/****.

That diet is gonna be pretty harsh. Up your vitamin intake A LOT since it's winter. I'd probly take a multi vitamin 3 times a day with meals and 1g of Vitamin C 3 times a day also.
Crash Dieting + High dosage of caffein + Winter = Disaster on the immune system

That place has some pretty awesome pizza.
GM though, for my money, and that drive time, is much better in summer vs winter...
If you need a nice get away in the heat waves of July, GM is a great place to plan a trip...
And if you're intrepid enough to wander around some of the rock formation islands that are out of town, local hot chicks gather on the back side of them to go skinny dipping during the summer.
God was that a great find when I was a 13 year old boy!
