weird feeling of low carb diet

whoa, I just started a low carb diet...2nd day actually. Is it normal to feel exhausted to a point where I think I'm getting sick? I have 1/2 cup rolled oats in the morning at 6a.m. and my next carb is not until my 4th meal at 1p.m. At about 11a.m., I started to feel really tired. But as soon as I ate my 4th meal at 1p.m., I was feeling fine again. I'm thinking it's just my body reacting to the sudden shock. Or, should I just eat more carbs...maybe 1 cup of rolled oats for breakfast instead of 1/2 cup? Let me know what you guys think. It kinda caught me by surprise...I really thought I was getting sick for a second.

no atkins diet. Just something I came up with. I'm trying to cut, so I figure I'd cut my carbs a little. But looks like I haven't searched hard enough, or been reading the wrong material. Correct me if I'm wrong...I should add carbs to every meal...just maybe in moderation because I'm trying to cut?

I would eat whatever carbs you have after your workout, to restore liver glycogen.

Atkins or not, your body still needs to adjust to the lower carbs.

Thanks for the info Ira! My current carbs are 1/2 cup oats at 6a.m., 1/4 cup brown rice at 1p.m., 2 oz wheat pasta at 4:30p.m, 1/4 cup oats with pre-workout shake at 5:30p.m., then 1/4 cup oats with post-workout shake 7p.m.
